1 Muy Caliente! Hot Mama!

Who says being a Mommy means you have to give up your hotness? Not so says this mama of three, soon to be four. Ladies, she worked this photo session. All I can say is, I know why they have four kids :)

It was difficult to find just a few photos to post, because honestly ... I had too many favorites.
I really thank this family for inviting me in to capture some fairly sweet and intimate moments of them. I'll never forget it.

Oh and to the makeup artist with the mostest ... Rashida Chancey of Behold Makeup Artistry, girl ... you hooked it up!

1 4 Generations!

You know, I think I'm a pretty good judge of many things ... like age for example! When I went for this session, I knew beforehand it was going to be a four generational shoot. So mom, daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter. No biggie. So when I got to the location, I had the chance to meet the matriarch. I smiled, we shook hands, I asked her if I could move stuff around and then someone blurted out her age - 97! No, I didn't transpose it ... 97! I wouldn't have pegged this lady for a day over 72 and honey, that's stretching it!
Did I also mention that she had the audacity to graduate from Ivy Tech at age 80? Helloooo! So, I'm thinking it's time for me to get myself in gear and reorganize my thinking. Treat my body like the temple it is, and fully embrace the blessings I've been given. Cause frankly, if I am given the privilege to be here at 97 I so want to look that good!

0 Cute boots!

Cute boots ... that's what my daughter said while I was editing the photos. Hey, one fashionista can recognize another ... and believe me, I'm NOT the fashionista.

This photo session was a great way to start out the new year. My subject (see cute kid) reminded me soooo much of my own daughter. Uber fiesty, lots of fun and spilling over with personality. Not to mention she too is a binky addict. I could not pass up on that shot!

Earlier in the winter, I had the privilege of capturing this cutie's ever so slightly older cousin. I can only imagine how these two are when they get together. Hopefully the moms have their camcorders on hand. The one liners have to be priceless.

Well since they were my first family of the year, I suppose they deserve the honor of being the first family posted on the new blog. Here's your sneak peek!

0 What Happened?

So, I'm probably more versed on being a photographer than I am an HTML coder. Simply put ... I deleted the old blog. Not intentionally, but nevertheless it's gone. So you now get to visit me at the *new* site. I realize it's a bit more to type, and for that I am sorry, but blogger says I've gotta use a new domain name ... so I gotta do, what I gotta do.
